I was so excited when Appleseed’s reached out to partner with me about their new Holiday Catalog for 2019. Being originally from the Northeast Coastal region, my style typically leans towards a more American Classic tailoring. I love timeless styles with clean lines. Pearls, button-down crisp cotton shirts, and black patent leather are staples in my closet! There is nothing better than waking up on a cool morning and layering with a turtleneck and a crisp cotton collared shirt.

When I went to Appleseed’s website I LOVED the looks! Understated elegance to classic casual is what I found. I jumped at the chance to try out their clothing. There are only a few months a year that I can wear my favorite fall and winter outfits living here in Florida. Every Floridian looks forward to being able to wear their beautiful fall and winter looks that our northern friends get to start wearing a couple of months earlier. I was excited that Appleseed’s had options for me as well.

Keeping Things Neutral

Black, white and ivory are my go-to for winter and the holidays. You can add some bold colors to spice things up for evening or a holiday party!

This Foxcroft Tartan Plaid Tunic immediately caught my eye. I love anything wrinkle-free, to begin with! The bold colors and large tartan plaid is also really popular this season. It offers a shirttail hem and side slits for a comfortable fit. I loved the length of this so I could wear it with the Everyday Slim-Fit Pants, or even leggings as well. It was extremely flattering. The cut was perfect for me being a tall girl!

Turtlenecks are a must-have in winter and will work great under the Tartan Plaid Tunic! Get those layers going with an Appleseed’s Essential Turtleneck!

Holiday Look

To complete my holiday look I needed a little sparkle for my closet! I found and love this great cowl neck sweater with some shimmer for evening events! The Sparkle Cowl Neck is perfect for that holiday party!

The best part about the sweater is even though it is sparkly on the outside, the inside is smooth and comfortable!

I loved how I was able to mix and match all of these items. The shoes can go with either the sparkle sweater or the tartan plaid! Both tops look great with slim-fit pants. This is a great addition to my winter wardrobe and Appleseed’s will be my go-to for those Iconic East Coast styles!
