Enzo’s Hideaway and the Other Hidden Restaurant at Disney Springs

Share with Friends

The Governor’s Conference fell over my birthday and we decided to head over to Disney Springs and try a restaurant, Enzo’s Hideaway, that was recommended by a local resident at the conference.

Finding It

Enzo’s Hideaway is underneath another restaurant,  nicely tucked away. In fact, we walked by it and around it and could not see the entrance! That made it all the more intriguing. After, finding the stairs to head down we went into this cave-like entrance where a friendly receptionist greets us and tells us our table will be ready shortly.

When you enter the restaurant it is dark. The walls seem out of character for an Italian restaurant. On the website, it states it has Roman food and Prohibition-themed cocktails in an aged-looking space-themed as a rum-runner tunnel. The artwork was entertaining to read while we waited for our table. As a result, our wait time did not seem that long.

We decided to head to the restroom and had to walk all the way through. When we finally got there we soon realized we were in another hidden restaurant!

The Edison

The Edison is a themed restaurant that features Edison Era fixtures from the Industrial Age. It was pretty cool but I was so confused! We realized the two restaurants share a restroom area and headed back to the receptionist to get our table at Enzo’s. I snapped a few photos of The Edison that you can check out since it had such a unique decor.

Back to Enzo’s we go and we were seated right in the middle of the restaurant where we were able to see everything.

Back to Enzo’s

Dinner started with a glass of wine and freshly baked Italian Bread with herbs and olive oil. Jamie and I love to share. I certainly had eaten enough on this trip and had no interest in stuffing myself. Because of this, we opted for their fresh fish of the day but it was already sold out. We decided to order appetizers and a beet salad. I am glad we did as that was plenty for us.

Everything had a unique twist to it. Since it was different, we ordered the chicken wings and instead of blue cheese, they had put a gorgonzola cheese sauce with them. DELICIOUS and different which is something I always look for when dining out!

Next, we opted for the Fried Mozzarella. The twist? It had a delicious pesto under the cheese that gave it a lot of extra flavors. The red sauce was amazing as well. Another win!

Again, that pesto! It was under the beet salad which by itself was delicious and refreshing.

Enzo’s was delicious! I was dying to try their fresh fish, we did not leave disappointed. If you have a craving for Italian, this is the place to go.
